Educational Enhancement Program

The purpose of the Education Program is to assist participants enrolled in the CSSP to reach the education levels and knowledge required to obtain employment. Case managers work with participants to determine educational levels and offer counseling to aid in gaining a higher education. An Interactive Computer Test Preparation Program is being utilized to assist residents in obtaining a GED. The program provides a set of practice tests and skill builders in a realistic, timed setting that prepares students for the General Educational Diploma (GED) test. Basic Computer Training is offered in conjunction with the GED program. WCCDC has set-up a completely networked computer-learning center for its participants. The computer training is provided on site at the Wheeler Creek location.
